Call me crazy, but on my RS with black wheels, I like the chrome lug nuts better. I did get aftermarket ones because the Ford ones suck, but I stuck with the stock chrome look.

Interesting enough, my Stealth with the aftermarket wheels now has black lug nuts and I think it looks good too :lol: I think I like the contrast more than anything.

I thought about just leaving it alone, it didn't really bother me, but as you said the stock 2 piece chrome capped lug nuts are terrible. The downside of the black ones is impact guns can and will damage the black coating.

Would have been better if cruise was set to 69 while doing 69. Just sayin... :)

Very true, but the speed was never going to be 69 because of where I was on Highway 65 at the time lol

I still haven't taken mine in for the emissions recall

I have two open haha. One will be fixed now when I take it in for service and the other is waiting for available recall service.

better than the chrome

personally i would have done a carbon or dark grey to match the plastic.
