Hot off the plane from China. Took a couple weeks because I did a custom build and not their US-stocked off the shelf ones. This looks like a really nice kit. It's real leather. I'm pretty excited about it. I'm also really happy that they completely got rid of the center stripe. I was concerned it would be the same pattern and they'd just put a black strip where the red one normally is.

I also finally got one of the seats up and cleaned properly. I can't believe these are ~110,000 mile seats. They look great. The marks on the bottom are just the nap of the alcantara. There's barely a scuff on these things.

I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

the only thing that does is drag mopars off the highway after they break a valvespring. or wipe a cam. or kill a lifter and then wipe a cam. or break a balljoint. or the TIPM decides to check out. then after all this you cant get into it to do anything other than read codes because they set up a gateway to require a subscription for any access to "modifications". yes, clearing codes requires a subscription for special access.

Wat? Ford's 2.7 is probably the most reliable truck engine for the last 10 years.

Started on the wheel this afternoon. When they say stretch the cover over the wheel, they're not kidding. This thing is tight. But that's a good thing. It's less likely to move around once it's fully installed. It was definitely a challenge.

The stitching wasn't all that tough. I found a really good YouTube video showing how to do the start and end knots. It was still a little tricky, but I think I did a good job for a first time. The big loose ends will be cut a bit shorter and tucked away under the switch bezel once it's all finished.

Damn I could never do that stitching. Detail work is the bane of my existence. Nice!
