Cool torque wrench

Check out this cool torque wrench I got. Terry is selling them. I messed around with it and the only thing I don't like is when it turns off in 3 minutes from not being used it goes back to zero. Other than that it's pretty cool and it appears to be very accurate.
Only 100 bucks but I had a gift certificate from NG so I got it for 50.

Yeah I had to pull the trigger on it. I had to do the loan a tool from auto zone last time I put the heads on. I don't know if some idiot used it as a hammer or not. My other TW only goes to 80 or something like that.
Some more info on it. It has a pretty cool you tube vid.

Good question, for the price I'd say china but IDK. Sometimes they make shit much better.

That is pretty bad ass.
Less then my mechanical craftsman one too.
Does it beep when you reach your set torque? Do the mechanical click like traditional?

No click, there is a green light that starts to glow when you put some pressure on it then the yellow at something like 90% and the red LED and beep when you reach the desired torque. You can also see the torque in real time on the display.

Pretty neat. Craftsmen used to sell an electronic torque wrench a while ago too, but I think that was more pricey.

Just pick up a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter. Probably one of my most used sockets aside from the 14, 12 and 10.

I dont trust my brownline anymore, and the display is kinda hard to read from a brake fluid mishap. I think its time to replace it before i start putting the STI engine back together. HF has a 25% off all hand tools and im going to see if the torque wrench counts, doesnt list it as an exclusion, so here goes.

Not bad, but a little spendy for harbor freight.
How about this one

I actually bought this one a while back, but really haven't used it yet. I like the old tried and true twist sticks.

I use the torque wrench in this kit.

The Torque Test Channel on YouTube did a big test on different torque wrenches and basically for the home mechanics there's no reason to spend hundreds on a torque wrench. They're all (even the harbor freight cheap stuff) plenty accurate if used and stored properly.

Yea unless you use them for a trade I wouldn't spend all that money. Id rather get a wrench in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2" for that price so i could cover all my angles.
