Check out this cool torque wrench I got. Terry is selling them. I messed around with it and the only thing I don't like is when it turns off in 3 minutes from not being used it goes back to zero. Other than that it's pretty cool and it appears to be very accurate.
Only 100 bucks but I had a gift certificate from NG so I got it for 50.

Yeah I had to pull the trigger on it. I had to do the loan a tool from auto zone last time I put the heads on. I don't know if some idiot used it as a hammer or not. My other TW only goes to 80 or something like that.
Some more info on it. It has a pretty cool you tube vid.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

No click, there is a green light that starts to glow when you put some pressure on it then the yellow at something like 90% and the red LED and beep when you reach the desired torque. You can also see the torque in real time on the display.

I dont trust my brownline anymore, and the display is kinda hard to read from a brake fluid mishap. I think its time to replace it before i start putting the STI engine back together. HF has a 25% off all hand tools and im going to see if the torque wrench counts, doesnt list it as an exclusion, so here goes.

The Torque Test Channel on YouTube did a big test on different torque wrenches and basically for the home mechanics there's no reason to spend hundreds on a torque wrench. They're all (even the harbor freight cheap stuff) plenty accurate if used and stored properly.
Yea unless you use them for a trade I wouldn't spend all that money. Id rather get a wrench in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2" for that price so i could cover all my angles.
