That is one thing I got good at while working on the farm - tetris packing things. And yeah, having small cars help you pair down and pack well.. skills have really come to good use while packing moving trucks or for race weekends carrying all the stuff for both of us.

[quote=""DCIV""]It is but that’s where the snacks, games, baby bag, and pumping bag are.

I took Aaron’s comment as a challenge. I made it soooo much better. I’m proud of myself. I think Aaron deserves a bottle of my wife’s side of the family wine though. It’s not like any wine you’ve ever had and we 12 bottles at my wedding. Was gone before we finished with after ceremony pics because it was THAT GOOD.

Told you, you could do it ;)

First oil change at 31,362. Brake fluid is on the low mark. Odd. I will have to check the brakes next tire rotation. I know she’s a big bitch but surely you don’t go through pads that quick?

All depends how it's driven I'd say. Shit you can go through a set of pads in a weekend at a track even in a car.

Totally true. Just makes me wonder about it’s history more now.

Coming back from GA, just got gas, check engine light flashes on and off a couple times (usually means misfire) and goes away, then it will not do the whole cyl deactivation. Even stop, restart…still. Hooked up to a code reader…no stored codes.

Now what?

Be happy that those items are no longer working?

I really dislike working on the wife’s vehicles. It’s never perfect enough.

Brakes were making noise. Figured it was the parking brake. Worked on those. No noise for me “she heard noise”. Take apart and yes, the clips that hold the pad on from the shims were into the rotor but there was plenty of pad left. Odd.

Redid the rears.

Now the fronts that were low are making noise. Every convo I have is, my brakes are making noise.

If that’s not enough it needs new tires and oil change…still think it needs shocks too.

36k mile vehicle needs more shit than any 100k vehicle I’ve bought.

Next it’s gonna need tires. Was debating between these two.

Hated the Pirellis I had on my Focus ST (stock tires).

But it looks like they are probably the best tire according to tire rack for that size/application.

This is what it has…I think both will be better than this.

Noise? Traction? Wear?

Traction and wear. But they were high performance all season tires, not SUV all season tires.

True. Totally different. Current tires center tread is fine. Outside is bad. Patently because turning into our driveway is such a steep angle and it’s not smooth concrete, so it slowly wears it down. I keep them rotated but it doesn’t matter.
