Passenger side exhaust FU Cam bolt got me today... Have to order a bolt removal tool and pray. The going to order these...

Yeah, those bolts are the worst. I buy a new 10mm hex every time and wrap it in a little Teflon tape lol

My impact wouldn't get it to budge so I got out my breaker bar and a cheater pipe. That combo started to strip the hex

Yeah never use a breaker bar on those, its bad news.

Its just a poor design for something that tends to tighten up with the rotation of the engine, also the bolt has a good amount of surface its in contact with on the cam gears is my guess.

Got it with a bolt extraction tool! Also I hate the fucking cam holder tool!!!

Yeah it's a high stress environment. Not sure a regular glue will hold up.

Subaru heads come bare not fully assembled.

I’m sure you can get some valves and reuse springs. They arnt hard to put on. Do they at least have guides already in them?
No one sells reman heads ready to go? Seems like there is a market for that.
