It had sat so much between me driving the WRX and our trip to Disneyland it went into a deep sleep and the vehicle approach functions didn't activate when I walked up to it with the fob on Tuesday afternoon

It also had a pending code for P0420

I'm hoping the misfire is just some iffy gas or something else related it having sat for 2+ years. The P0420 is catalyst efficiency below threshold. It could mean I need new cats

I reset the codes yesterday and I'm out just randomly driving around today. Everything is fine and the readiness monitors all set except for evap which takes forever anyway. I topped it off with Shell 91 too. I have no idea what happened, but of it comes back I'll be swapping the coil pack to see if it follows. If it's not that I'll pull the injectors out and have them tested and cleaned.

I really hope not after 1000 miles. Also the EJ20 doesn't usually that same problem.
