That just sucks it really really sucks.

Is their any change its just crack in the outer layer and not something that will have to be replaced.

I know money always factors into things, but I for one believe that it's more about time invested than money.

No, I would say time is more a factor in this because:

He really started this project almost 4 years ago. I've gotten to see the frustration, amount of thinking, consideration, research and planning that went into this car. After a complete setup for 15G's and then spinning a bearing on the dyno, it was like starting back from scratch for a full new setup for E316G's. Now that the car is home and he's coming across (what I call minor but can feel like major issues) more problems getting it ready for a final tune, it (in my mind) feels like the beginning phase all over again.

At least that's how I know I would feel.
