I was really considering the 4s but decided not to just for that reason.
With as impressive as the MPAS line is there's almost no reason to get the MPS line of tires. The AS line is a better all around street tire and if you really want to Auto-x or track a car the extreme performance class tires are way better than the MPS line.

Got the tires on. Initial impressions are good. Much better than what was on there.

In the summer at higher temps the PS4S is better than the AS tire. But unless you want to switch tires constantly, the AS4 is good enough as you said.
I don't plan on driving my Stealth too much when it's below 45 anyway, except maybe in the morning, but definitely not below 20F, so I decided on the PS4S because it will give me the most amount of grip in the summer, with still decent treadwear (300 rating, 30,000 mile warranty).

I have the Pilot Sport 4S tires on my new Spyder wheels as well. They rock on the C8 too.
Tons of great feedback on the AS4, which is fitted on all the non-Z51 Stingrays. People love both.

This conversation reminds me that I need a new set of summer tires for the Volt. I have dedicated winter tires on separate wheels, so don't need to handle deep snow with whatever I buy.
Tire Rack seems to recommend the CrossClimate 2 tires. Anything else to consider?

It's a Volt, so don't really need a performance tire. Comfort and efficiency are more the focus.

2017 original battery, I noticed a couple times where it was just different starting than normal. So I need a battery.
The user manual says I should have the coolant changed, I need to do that.
I would like to have the trans fluid changed as well.
Any idea what the dealer is gonna ask to do all of that?

Probably something like $650.
Do the battery yourself

You do a load test on the battery? Could be just bad terminals.

Found the stupid trans temp option. Wish I had seen that.
Replaced the battery today. 240 bucks for a ac delco one.

Yes it is an agm.
It was a crazy ride actually, interstate battery didnt have any, the Chevy dealership didnt have any
auto zone only had this one. So really, I dont know why but I was just happy to find a decent battery.

Make fun, but the Tahoe had to have a leveling kit so it didnt scrape getting into the garage.

Really thinking about doing the Silverado brakes on the Tahoe and Tahoe brakes on the avalanche. Mainly because the pads on the tahoe (nicest ones you can get at autozone) do squeal just a little bit when you are at very low speed stopping. She knows some brakes do that so she doesn’t say much but I know she doesn’t like it.
So if I put the Silverado brakes over, not only could I take my time and paint the calipers (maybe put fake brembo vinyl on them), but I could also go with oem GM pads that prob do not do it as much as the the pads that are on it.
Any thoughts?
