500 miles... Just over half a tank of fuel so far. Kinda want to fill it up before diesel prices go up (again) but also very curious to see how far it goes.
If anyone would have told me there'd be a full size diesel truck capable up upper 20/lower 30mpg even a few years ago, I would never have believed it.
Pics are up.

Weren’t you just complaining about money or a job or something? I don’t really care but doesn’t seem like the smart move.

Was complaining I couldn't get rich doing animations.... Started my new job at end of January and also sold a LOT of stuff. Put down over 20% and got a deal.
I did want to wait at least 6 months before doing this but the Ridgeline became undependable and we needed a truck. SO here we are.

I hear lots of great things about how this Diesel runs and how smooth it is.

If I’m correct it’s the same one they are putting in the Tahoe. So far personal reviews on Facebook have been very good. Wish it wasn’t 70k.

It's pretty sweet actually. First major service comes at 150K. We'll see how it holds up.

Congrats on the new truck!
Just as a note you can get a diesel in the F150 as well.

No idea what's going on with that but no you can't actually...
https://tfltruck.com/2020/01/is-the-3-0 ... e-ask-tfl/
Couldn't even find one to test drive. Literally no inventory.
The Hybrid is all the rave now but it seems silly that the truck doesn't even use the battery powered motor while towing...
It was also the most expensive out of the 3...

Why do you want the AT4? Go with the Elevation with the X31 package.

You got any real world MPG figures out of it yet? I'd be interested to see if it really can hit what the EPA tests say...
Sidenote: EcoDiesel is Ram's engine. Chevy still calls it a Duramax even in the 1/2 Ton trucks.

2021 F150 configurator has the diesel option as well. Whether you can find one or not is a different story.
Edit: Did some searching for 2021 F-150 diesels, and I could only find 3 within like 250 miles. Must not be much demand for them, or dealers are upselling people to HD diesel trucks instead.

Also, building and pricing on GMC's website I find it quite funny that they refer to the turbo 4 cylinder engine that is available as "2.7L Turbo". No where does it say it is a 4 cylinder

Probably would scare buyers off getting a 4 cylinder in a full size pickup!

Just went to Burger King and ordered a Big Mac. Somehow still got what I wanted...

True story: Ford is having issues with this.
If bored, check out FB groups having heated arguments over this. It's about as bad as talking politics or religion...

That's still a $52k+ Truck and it has 20" wheels which I'm not a huge fan of.

Modern trucks are expensive... What's even more hair pulling is how well they hold their value. You don't save much going used unless it has crazy mileage or a salvage title. ...or its the end of the month the dealership is desperate to sell units....
The Ridgeline lasted 12 years and 203K. If we get that out of our new truck, I'll be content we got our moneys worth.
