That's the biggest problem I have with the mid-size 3 row segment their mpg is not that much better than a full size. Our Ascent is averaging like 15mpg that's what I get in my truck.

Yeah it's seriously disappointing, but we also do a whole lot of city driving and short trips

In the city the explorer gets 15-17mpg for us. Long trips 20-22mpg. It’s a 350hp brick, so I can’t complain too much

i do a lot of city driving, and get about 14mpg, i think most would be 18ish if i drive conservatively.

New floor mats, ran wires for dash cam, and installed this diff brace this morning.

I have the single bolt diff so this is just good insurance.

Nice enough MPG numbers. Might double check that on paper though. Most readouts are overly generous.

Was wondering how long it was going to take you to say that. Every time someone posts their readout mpg we can always count on you to chime in. Lol

Half the time they're wrong because people change tire and wheel sizes and don't compensate for it.

I've checked it multiple times on our Explorer, and every time it's been withinn 0.1 to 0.2mpg.

I love we always have this convo. Might be the most common talk.

I saw an ST-Line Explorer at the gas station the other day. First thing I did was look at the exhaust tips. They had the weird cutout too.

I did not calculate my MPG when I filled up at the same gas station. All I'll say on that topic is my truck runs rich as hell when it's cold out. It's getting better mileage now that the temperatures are coming up.

My mpg goes down in the winter as well, with idling to warm up when I’m at work, to running different in winter.

It’s only like 1mpg difference.

Not sure if I mentioned, but ended up tuning it. Should be putting down about 450-460 awhp now. Definitely quick and very smooth to well above 100.
