Thinning the herd...

Re: Thinning the herd...
You know what's funny. I haven't driven my 96 more than probably 10 miles since purchasing it back in 2013. Always drove just fine, but somehow i managed to wedge it in the garage and let it sleep. lol.

Wife said no. We are trying to trim down our debt right now so extra cash is going towards that, but also won't pass up a great deal to get her what she wants. She doesn't want a charger. It has to be a 1st gen Camaro, GTO, or Cuda at this point. Not a show car either. A driver.ChargerX3 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 5:20 pmI had it at $50k, but i just listed it at $39k. Let me know if that is anywhere close to your budget.Duck Vader wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 5:12 pm Only one I would be interested in is the Charger, but I assume that one is out of my price range right now.![]()

And that's part of why I don't know that I want to buy it. What am I going to do with it besides make up a Boomer Board and go to cars and coffee

What is wrong with cars and coffee? I have been enjoying going.

Knowing you have a solid collectable and ultra rare beauty. You don't have to show it to enjoy it either. Sometimes its just nice knowing its there and sitting in it for a walk down memory lane.Chris GTO TT wrote: ↑Tue Jun 24, 2025 4:29 pmAnd that's part of why I don't know that I want to buy it. Nothing but you also have a car that the typical C&C attendees will understand and appreciate. Something like a 96 Stealth Turbo doesn't really fit that mold.Duck Vader wrote: ↑Tue Jun 24, 2025 4:32 pm What is wrong with cars and coffee? I have been enjoying going.![]()
Yeah that's also true.
Uh no
Re: Thinning the herd...
I would hope that whoever gets this keeps it stock as its 100% stock except for the short throw shifter. This will be a great collectable and ROI if you keep it genuinely stock.

Re: Thinning the herd...
Yeah I'd want to leave it completely stock and as original as possible.

You should start a thread and then do it. We can thank Jeff for his Vette thread.

Re: Thinning the herd...
To be fair the Santa Fe and the Challenger slots are in the garage, so minus those.
No HOA, whole reason i moved here.
