Re: YOLO
Nope. Nothing electric for the door locks work on the drivers door for it to unlock. All the other doors lock/unlock with the drivers door buttons but the drivers door itself does not.
Re: YOLO
There's a driver specific unlock relay and fuse, but all of the lock functions are controlled by a common relay and fuse. Both are in the BCM. Probably just a bad actuator then.
Fuse 3 is the drivers unlock and fuse 24 is the common lock/unlock if you still want to check. There's a plastic panel that pulls off in the front passenger footwell under the glovebox.
Does your truck have a sunroof? I've heard of the drains getting plugged or popped loose from the body exit and the BCM gets wet. Might be worth looking at that just in case.

Yes sunroof. I'll double check the fuses just in case. I was in there messing around a couple of weeks ago.

I do have the bumper to bumper warranty for the next few years so not too worried. Just annoying. Lol

Just went out to check the fuse and everything worked fine like nothing happened earlier.

And it's gone. Not going to really get into why but I traded it in today. I'll probably never buy one again. Kind of a mix of that never meet your heros thing plus a shit ton of stuff going sideways in my life.
Re: YOLO
You are being a grown man! Good job! I know plenty that wouldn’t do that for their own life.

Sucks when things go sideways in life for sure and you have to make tougher "grown up" decisions.Duck Vader wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2025 5:43 am And it's gone. Curious outside of those things going sideways what you didn't like about it, or the issues with the truck that led you to trade it in.

Re: YOLO
It's was comfortable... Other than that.... Not much I ended up liking about it after daily driving it for a couple of months. Bed too small. Just wide enough to be annoying and too wide for some of the off-road stuff I wanted to do. Factory exhaust note gave me a major headache. Steering felt really disconnected compared to even other trucks I've driven. Alarm kept going off every time a neighborhood cat jumped on it. Only had about an inch of headroom with the big sunroof thing so kept hitting my head on bumps. Never fell in love with it like I did other things. Sucks as a truck. Hell driving the tundra home I liked it better.
Re: YOLO
It sounds like your problem is you actually wanted to use it as a truck. Ford made this thing for high speed desert running, which virtually nobody does. It can rock crawl, but that's not its primary purpose. It's too damn big, as you said. Everyone else just uses them as more practical stop light racers, and you have a far more capable Corvette for that.

Interesting. I certainly understand not liking the sunroof, one of the reasons my truck is an XLT is because almost every Lariat and above truck gets one.

Re: YOLO
How tall are you?
My buddy with the 2020 Lariat has the sunroof. He's like 6'3" and has plenty of head room.
Wonder if the Raptor seats sit up higher or something?

6'2, but I have a rather tall upper body compared to others with my same height. I have like a 31-32" inseam, but at 6'2" that is short legs.

I'm 5'11" with a 33" inseam. I have a problem where pedals often feel too close.

Re: YOLO
This is why I think I want to rent a few different trucks on Turo and see what I like.. still think the wideness of the Raptor might be an issue for me.
Re: YOLO
I have watched some people have issues parking them. This makes some sense now.

Re: YOLO
Yeah considering it's hard enough to park a standard F150 super crew add 6 inches of body width and things get appreciably more difficult. Going to the tow mirrors on my truck definitely made a difference for things like drive thrus and parking to some extent.
