Re: YOLO
I don't know. I'm reading it depends on how it was ordered. I've seen window stickers from 2020 that said 802a and torsen. I'll have to run the vin and see. Do you have access to the same stuff you had with gm in terms of vin breakdown?
Re: YOLO
I wish Ford had an equivalent of the RPO/SPID label GM has. I don't have easy access to an available equivalent.
With that said, I've got a list of things I want to look up with another 72 hour pass to Ford's service system. I can pull an OASIS report for your truck while I'm in there. That'll have the option code info. Might not be until after New Years though.

I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

Re: YOLO
If you put your VIN into the ford parts website the front differential carrier has this description “Limit Slip Torque Bias Axle. 4.10 Ratio”. I’m gonna go with you have the front torsen diff.

Re: YOLO
I have a local copy of that I'm constantly referring to.
Be careful with it. I've found a handful of things that don't match up with my truck. I spent close to an hour tonight trying to get my chimes working right and I still can't figure it out.
Yours is even newer, which could make the problem even worse. Back up your settings before you change anything.
You can download your entire factory AsBuilt file from here: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt. It's good to keep a copy of that around as well.

How much bigger the raptor really is.

Re: YOLO
I love how much they flared out the fenders on the Raptor.
This is so tempting.

Not the greatest pics because of the rain, but here is the bed cover I installed.

Re: YOLO
Also did some FORScan stuff.
DRL is now just the ambers "raptor" lights and parking lights instead of headlights.
Got rid of the doo doo doo start up chime.
Got rid of the double horn honk if you get out of the truck with key in pocket.
Changed number of blinker flashes to 5 from 3 on the lane change thing.
That is about it for now. Might play around with other things later, but those were the bigger ones that annoyed me. Need to make sure headlights still come on at night with the auto lamps.

Re: YOLO
That doo doo doo is the seatbelt minder. I've tried 3 times to get rid of it.
I'm sure it's because my truck is a mishmash of different years and models now.

Re: YOLO
Would have been about $2k, but chatting with the website chat function, they gave it to me for about $1800, then it arrived with a little damage, not enough to mess with the function, so they gave me an additional $200 off. So got it for about $1600. It also comes with a free cargo manager if you submit the rebate for it from now until end of month, which is itself, another $330. So saved about $730 total.

Re: YOLO
Despite the damage they are also honoring the full warranty. Which is nice.

Re: YOLO
That's pretty standard for a retractable one with a good warranty from a reputable company anymore.
