It's fast enough and we're not going to screw with the warranty.

I haven't messed with the one in the Corvette either. I don't even want to.

Whenever you use forceful and overt verbal persuasion to try to convince others to see things your way, they're probably not listening to what you say, Instead they're looking for every error in you your logic and mistakes in your facts, all the while constructing counterarguments. Worse still, they don't merely believe you're wrong; they need you to be wrong in order to protect the status quo. It's really been a year since we've had anything to say about the Jellybean? I guess that's a good thing.

I don't think this is really bad, but it's definitely weird. We were out shopping yesterday, and we ran it through a car wash. As we're leaving, I see a dribble of water run down the inside of the windshield. :wtf: When we got to our next stop, I pushed up on the top edge of the windshield from the inside, and I can see it barely lift up away from the body.

I guess I'll call Safelite and see if they can take it out and replace the urethane. Hopefully it won't be too expensive since the glass seems absolutely fine. It's probably just a previous repair done slightly wrong. The glass has Audi markings on it, so at least if they replaced it, they used factory parts.

Well, there's also the door lock sensor thing. Sometimes you approach the drivers door (when it's unlocked) put your hand in the handle, and it locks. Not a huge deal, but kind of annoying.
Otherwise, a bit of sunroof rattle, not terrible. Overall, it's been a good first year. :)

Coop
More often than not they're lazy and don't want to take the time.

I'd never pulled glass before but I got the windshield out of my mustang without breaking it

Finally got around to contacting SafeLite about the windshield thing. It's getting a little worse. They won't reseal a windshield unless it's to fix a mistake on one they installed. Guess there's too much risk of breaking the glass, like Coop said. They're happy to install a brand new one for ~$500 though.

Anyone got any other ideas? I don't think I can open up the gap enough to squirt something in there, and I'd be skeptical of it working anyway.

Great now Coop is gonna get a big head cause he was right

Are there any local glass shops to take it too? I probably need to get a new windshield for the RS as it has some chips and a scuff from that dirt clump that hit my car. I had safelite do my ST windshield and it was like $350-400. There's a place in town where I work that's about 2/3'ds the cost of Safelite. I gotta believe there is something in KC too. They may be willing to try to reseal it too as well.

Coops been right on some very big things in the past. I knew what was wrong with Jeff’s spyder engine when no one else did to name pretty much the biggest.

Have you guys got any magic solutions for getting these clean? I tried oven cleaner, and it barely made a dent.

I'd consider just replacing them, but they're spot welded to the muffler tips.

I have some polish I used on the escape exhaust tips that were welded on and got them clean.
