In this case it might be best to pirate a copy of the version of windows that shipped with your PC and install that instead.
So you mean like find a copy of Vista from limewire, use my key code, and install that one? That's the only way to evade all the junk?
You could always just remove all the junk. It just takes a while and it's not as good as a fresh install.

Your key may very well not work with a retail copy.

Back on topic from off topic:

I get in small street races from time to time. My area doesnt have much over the corvette level for power and performance and most of those are driven by old men going through a mid life crisis. I stomp mustangs, camaro's, transams, civics, saturns, probes, etc all the time. We have like 4 or 5 college campus's in town so there are a ton of kids with their little 2 door coupes and tiny 4 or 6 cylinders who have body kits and stickers and I own them every time. The only time i have any competition is when my fellow somo3s members come into town.

I had a supra roll up on me yesterday, vented hood, stereo, brembo brakes, 4" exhaust with a huge ass exhaust pointing out the ass (could see the 4 inch pipe under the bumper due to the exhaust angle). Guy looked like a total puss, chubby, balding, but 20's. The type of guy you know still lives in moms basement. He turns up his stereo, acts like he cant see me, give him a rev, he throttles back. Light changes I get on it and notice... he aint. He just cruises along. No cops in sight, no radar detection, no laser detection, just me him and the open road. Pissed me off, I think he could have owned me if that car had anything under the hood, I heard a blow off valve on the shift, shit had turbos. He could have raped me but it would have been fun to find out. Pussyed out, I remember seeing him another night when I had my group in town for a meet and the supras were having a meet. He wouldnt race one of our guys either, just said all his mods and acted proud but wouldnt run. Why build it if you wont drive it to its potential? Whats the point of having hundreds of hp just to putt along in 2nd at 30mph?
That would kick ass, and once I know what a MSDN key is I'll know just how much ass it kicks!! :p
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/default.aspx

It includes keys to all released OSes for testing.

Different type of person I guess. I'm the type that will run something I know I'll lose to. It's just fun.

Perhaps he feels a real connection to his car, and to watch it lose would mean that his life was a failure.

Either way, just because you're feelin' froggy doesn't mean everyone else is. Sometimes I get the ricer rev at a redlight and just smile at them. I don't drive to prove a point to others, I drive to get somewhere. My car allows me to do that however the hell I want, no matter if I want to putt along at 5 under or cruise at 120. :D
