F350. Auto. 460 big block.

Bought it for the amount of money the previous owner put on parts into it. I have receipts for the work.

Not really sure what I'm going to do with it yet if I'm honest.

Didn't even make it home before needing a tow. Lol

I know people at the fire dept that would swear thats an amazing combo. Not fast. Drink a lot of gas. But they would rave about all of that. The 460 especially.

But needs a started solenoid for sure and new wires from starter to solenoid to battery

It only has about 20 wires. You got this.

I'm just going to replace the solenoid and wires around it then eventually probably buy an entire wire set like I did for the camaro. Half the gauges don't work, and a lot of sensors are missing. No radio.

As long as I get it somewhat reliably running I'll start messing with everything else.

Dual tanks but the switch is messed up and randomly jumps between the two so the rear one was disabled and wired so whatever it's switched to, will run from the front tank.

Need a lot of little tlc but rust is actually not too bad and I'm going to leave it looking rough for now.

Also has a vintage kh brake controller I'll have to see if it's working

also, you cant be the dumbest man on bawc, i have a wrx swapped forester with 205k on the engine that i slapped an sti turbo and stuff on lol, thats just asking for it

This is BAWC, which grew from 3SI, and at one point we all owned 1 or more 3S's. We're all dumb

whats worse, owning one youve had for a while, or wanting to buy one still, knowing how horrible of a decision it is.

This is pretty dumb. And yes i still own 2x 3S's.

Did you get the truck running? Seriously don’t think this is a dumb buy. You can tow anything, really slowly, and they are honestly known for being dependable…and gas hogs.
