Your tuner you used for your Chevy truck. You think he could build me a map so that the Tahoe wouldn’t try and shift and drive around at 1100rpm? It does that and lugs and the trans place says it’s on a relearn. So I will let it do its thing but I would rather just tell it not to lug around that low. It’s right at 50mph which is what we drive a lot at. So it’s annoying.

I’m 100% gonna. Also read service manual says 97,500 for plugs but some dealers suggest 50k. It’s at 73k. Might help.
As always Aaron my brain can’t stop so I’m thinking of what to do.

That's my tuner for gm engines/transmissions who does remote work. Just Google that name and reach out to him.

Gotcha. Thank you. About how much did all that cost?

Depends on if you have a tuning device already or not. That's what will cost big $. I have one from years ago. Using it for him to remote tune the vette once the long tubes go on. I think it's $150 or something like that to tune everything if you already have a device. He has devices and costs on his site.

Probably the most recommended remote tuner out there for gm vehicles if you are not hptuner savvy.

Time to trade in...

Seems stupid to spend $600-700 on a tune, instead of just waiting for the learning cycle to finish

I am. I said I was. Kind of stupid to know I said it and still post like I’m not.

Does yours have the Ford/GM 10spd?

6 speed. It feels better but still not right. Spending 6k really has be upset. I don’t know. What if it’s not the trans? Plus this AC mess.
I really feel like I’m fighting a losing battle with stuff right now.

If the misfire is bad enough it will eventually throw one yes.

Should throw one if the counts for a cylinder get too high or if it’s actively misfiring it will blink cause it could damage the cats from the raw fuel.

2017 and if just feels like it’s slipping or missing. It’s not constant. I don’t know when it will do it. It’s very slight but happens a fair amount on any drive. Cyl deactivation is turned off. So it’s not that but it’s small and noticeable.
