We’ve always used 504 stuff on the boat seats. They didn’t have it this time so I bought a much more expensive chemical guys leather/fake leather stuff.

They have come a long way since 504, we’ve been using it since 92, so I honestly hope it’s better.

Anyone have any experience with either?

No experience with either. The upholstery guy my dad uses for their boat basically just says dish soap and water. Then a wet cloth to wipe off the soap.

I can tell a difference when they are conditioned on how they are dry and when wet again and just overall protecting. So I’m deff gonna use something. I figure I would give this stuff two weeks and if I don’t like it, go back.

Yeah. It’s made things slick but doesn’t feel protected. The stuff we used for 20yrs might be just as trash though was my point.

Some older stuff is still decent. I’m not familiar with 504, did you mean aerospace 303?

I use some chemical guys. They make some good plastic protection stuff.
