Liquid sealant…. Huge tubes that you need a little and then next time the entire thing is dried.
Any tips to keep it from drying out?

Stick a tight nail in the end and wrap with some tape.

I mean I stick the cap back on, is the cap not a tighter seal than a nail?

I usually try and buy the smallest ones and just a couple but that doesn’t always work out.

Do you have a food vacuum sealer? That's what I did with my tube of fancy mitsu transmission case sealant.
