For another wtf Coop threads.

I bought some musou black paint. Now it doesn’t come in till end of June or start of July. I also didn’t buy a whole lot. It’s just ever since this paint has come out I have loved it. For those who have no idea what I’m talking about.

Now, “What are you going to do with this?” You may ask.

To start I’m going to paint a yeti. Long term, possibly my car. I do worry it will take away all curves of the car and take away from the amazing lines a 3/s has. On the other hand, dang that stuff cool.

I wouldn't even consider doing a whole car. But maybe some trim pieces could be interesting.

There is a YouTube video of the plastidip guys painting a car with it. It’s nuts. You should paint your 3s door window trim with it. You know, the parts that always peel off the rubber.

I have to wonder how it'll hold up once it gets dirty though. Even just airborne dust and streaks from washing will make it reflect more light.

Paint the Yeti like you said. Then live with it for a month or so. Use it often, wash it, see how it holds up in the real world.

Matte paint and matte wraps are sort of fragile. I can't see this stuff being any better.

Exactly. I carry a yeti everywhere. So I will give it a real world test.

The only time I wish I owned a stealth….is for that paint. Lol

Okay. So let me ask some questions. I’m gonna spray this.

Do I mix it with some anything when I go spray it. I have an old model car spray set up somewhere but just have never used it.

I guess it doesn’t get a clear as that would add shine and go against what I’m trying to do.

Thoughts?

Gonna add this.

They used this in the clear after painting the car. I was originally worried the clear would make it more shine but don’t think it will after seeing the video with the color shift.
