Absolutely the best

Post by DCIV »

The best brake pads for stock brakes. Not the best for the money. Needs to be able to stop cold as well though.

We all know, if you don’t, my failed attempted to go bigger brakes so between that and back to stock my car is NOT stopping correctly. So it’s going back to turned rotor and new pads. Car gets maybe 2k a year. It would be nice to be lighter dust but if not then fine.

Let’s make the stock brakes work the best they can. What do I buy? Ebc? Something else?

Porterfield or Carbotech I think are the best for a 3/S.

I am running power stop brake pads on my fronts, and centrics on my rears right now though, as I don't plan to do any kind of tracking at all. I have Carbotech AX6 pads to put on if I want to take it to the track though.

The adapter to run gt500 brake calipers, after tons of grinding, the caliper never fit down on the rotor like it should. I’m sure it would have worked....but it wasn’t right.

Hmmm 3sx doesn’t have them and I can’t find them on Amazon either. eBay isn’t showing for my vehicle.

What am I missing here? Do I need to actually call them up?

Sweet. Ordered. 220 plus shipping. Said first 200 miles don’t get them too hot or they will glaze. I would be happy if I saw 200 miles in the car.

Lets take this one step further. Which ones are best with the least amount of brake dust accumulation?
