I have three 3/s blocks.
One is a 92, 2 bolt with forged crank and full rotating assembly.
One is a 94, 4 bolt with full rotating assembly.
One is a 4 bolt bare block.
The 92 I drove to get off of a deal on 3si because he went 3.5 and it was at his parents needing it out. The things in great shape. Oil pan still attached.
The 94 is another one I picked up on 3si, its a little dirty and Ive never checked out its bearings to know anything about it. Oil pan still attached.
The 4 bolt has a little surface rust but seems to be in good condition.
My question is this. Do I spend the money to get a machine shop to check them out? Then sell them? Do I sell them as just pictures and show #6 rod bearing? What are these things worth? I do not want to ship them but would be willing to travel a little to meet someone.
Or do I just put them away knowing there is a 95% I will never, ever use them?

Re: 3 blocks
That’s too many block. Keep one and sell the rest. I wouldn’t worry about taking them to a machine shop.

I think Im gonna sell all 3, really wanna build a mivec and If I do that there is no reason to have the 3 other engines.
Honestly though, sell these 3, and the other vr4 and maybe just buy a fun toy. No idea what but something.
