Anyone else seeing some distinct Viper cues? Possibly from a previous relationship?

Both the Viper and the AMG GT take their style cues from the classic long nose front engine racers of the past. Think Jaguar E Type and AC Cobra.

I think any relationship is coincidental. The AMG GT uses a totally different drivetrain layout. Front-mid mounted hot-v turbo engine with a rear mounted DCT. Viper used that big NA V10 lump with a normal front mounted transmission.
