Can't remember if we ever did a thread like this. But what are some opinions of the automotive world that you have that would be considered unpopular to the masses.

E.g. One of my biggest ones is every one in the automotive world seems to think the E-type Jag is one of the most beautiful cars ever created, and I think it is just meh.

I generally don't like Ferraris. I have zero desire to own one.

I can get onboard with that, except for the F40.

I respect the F40 for what it meant historically, but it still just doesn't do much for me.

Toyota isn't as reliable as people think they are

You really don't need all that horsepower on the road.

Shooting Brakes are cool.

Another for me, regarding design, I do not think the Mark IV Supra looks all that good, and really just looks bland.

Loud exhaust on anything under 6 cyl is stupid and even some 6 cyl is pushing it.

Trucks > cars

Awd and 4wd is pointless for 99.99% of people.

Corvette last good looking generation was the C5.

Subaru are overpriced and overhyped.

3000GT > Stealth

Supra is overhyped.

Shall I continue?

Drag racing sports cars is stupid. Let's take a versatile car, like a Corvette or a Supra or a Gallardo, a car that's really really good at a whole lot of things, and then completely ruin it just so you can go in a straight line a few tenths quicker.
