Drop in a Modern V8

If you could put a "modern" V8, such as a LS small block, into any other vehicle, what V8 would it be and what would it go into?
There are times I still think about doing it to the XJ. I think a LS1 XJ would be bad ass.

Local guy did this. I talked to him and he said it made the car very unpredictable. I can understand that....basically he said that he would do the turbo kit and a built engine if he did it all over again.
I have no idea though, I think with the right size and compound tires it would be a blast.

I want to put a LQ (iron block 6.0) in a 60-66 Chevy pick up, and TT it.
I could run lower boost and still see 600 hp and have a freakin blast.

I'd have Flyin Miata do the swap, all the reviews of their conversations say the car is very predictable :d ontknow:

Next project car could be a V8 Exocet. ItÂ’d be a whole C5 drive train.

That's probable, but given the kits available that make V8s bolt in I'd just go that route if you wanted to do it yourself.
