500+ hp and British or Italian.
that's not asking to much right.

$$$ vs $. lol
Seriously though, did you just pay off your car? It's really, really nice to see that extra $ stack up in your account.
Make yourself a deal. Wait X months, unless you find the PERFECT car you've been looking for. The most important thing is...there is NO rush.

F-Type or V8 Vantage.
I figured about $60k. don't want to go overboard.
here's the deal. with the F-Type I can get a newer car with newer/better tech. However the Vantage is beyond sexy and I can get it in a manual but I'd have to get a little older one than the F-Type which would be pretty close to new. from what I've found mileage isn't really an issue. they won't be that much different and it won't effect the price that much.

that's the plan. I want to stack some cash and pay off all my debt first. I'll be selling my rental house starting in October so I would imagine it'll be some time around Christmas before I really do anything unless like you said I find the PERFECT car. so for now I'm trying not to look to much.

that's what people said about my VR4. but that SOB ran great and didn't smoke. plus we'll have an extra car soon and/or I might keep the BRZ if I decide to get another VR4 plus I've got the VFR so weather permitting I'll always have an option. oh and I have an F250 long bed at work that I can borrow as needed.

There's more interior space in a BRZ than in a Miata or even a 3000GT :d ontknow:

I guess i need to go back and sit in one. I've got to lean like a cholo in the Stealth, but otherwise fit pretty well. I dont fit in Miata's well at all.

Head room wise the 3000GT was always a bit disappointing to me. I barely fit in it with a helmet on.

counting the GF's. She has a Yukon right now and will be getting some Merc AMG SUV soon. After the first of the year iirc. she really likes her Yukon. it was her first new car like the BRZ is for me but she's more attached to it.
if I keep the BRZ we will have 4 cars and I'll probably park one in the warehouse at the office. Plus I have the motorcycle but that fits in the garage with 2 cars so we're fine there.

5'10" or 11" 220-ish

so much more than a Miata. I drove my mom's Miata once and my back was killing me within minutes. I felt like I was driving a roller stake. the 3KGT? I don't ever remember being cramped in there and it's been a while so I don't know.

no. I've only touched 242 once and that was because my thyroid meds weren't working. apparently the generic sucks. I'm back on the name brand and got my weight back down. I've been in the 220s plus or minus a bit for quite a while now.

I'm 5'11" ish and about 195 now. I wear a 34" inseam pant, so I carry a decent amount of my height in my legs. While I'm not about to claim a Miata is roomy, I fit well enough. Overall passenger space the 3000GT has more, but head room felt closer than it should be given the size difference between the two.
I do feel like the BRZ family has at least as much interior space as a 3000GT with better headroom for fitting a helmet.
