Figured I'd keep a thread of thing's I've done to the RS.

So far I've installed yellow fogs (and yellow vinyl on the foglights), and put some Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires on. I also had the windows tinted as well. I just ordered a short throw shifter today for it, as the stock shifter is very tall, and has a very long throw. Only other plans for it at this point are mudflaps (because rally car!), and to put the roof rack from the ST on.

Something interesting I did not know, is the RS comes with an owners kit if you buy it new. It comes with a congratulations letter, some brochures and media, a DVD about the RS development, and a shift knob on a display base. Pics are below of the kit.

Also, I got invited for 1 day of driving instruction in Utah at Ford's Performance driving school. I can do an extra day as well. I have to pay for travel and lodging, but the first day is paid for.

That's pretty cool. Shame the shift knob has blotchy paint though.

It does help you to see better too. But also, "because rally car".

I still like your race car though.

Needs more drift mode.

Oh, been meaning to ask if you re-situated your cars in the garage yet?

Can you make them red, white, and blue?

That would be bad ass.

I run yellow fogs on my cars too... Looks awesome and helps in inclement weather at night.

I dont get the feeling that car will see too much inclement weather. Amiright?

Unfortunately it will remain, red, blue, white. Too much risk of door dings if the wife parks in the middle.

It’s my daily driver do it will see all sorts of weather

No need to change the order just park the car in the left ie staelth backwards.

Just do it for a picture. Then move them all back. Lol

Short throw shifter will be here Thursday. I got the shifter, transmission plate, and a full solid bushing set for the shifter and cables. It's what I had on the ST, and it was an awesome feeling shift.

How hard was it to change the fogs to yellow? I don’t wanna change mine to yellow but would love something better.

No idea on an Escape. On both the ST and RS, you just had to pop out the trim around the foglights, take out a couple screws, and replace the H8 bulb. I bought yellow led lights, and yellow vinyl to cover the lens as well.

Tried launch control tonight. All you do is activate via the screen in the dash, mash the gas, revs build to 5000rpm, let the clutch out and go.

It did an AWD spin with the pilot sport as 3+s, hooked and pulled hard. I’m sure the 28* temps didn’t help either. With the summer tires and warmer temps I’m guessing it would launch even harder. Overall it’s pretty violent
