I give up...
Well I was wrong. I took my XJ to work today and it was even worse than before. Got 1/2 to work and had to turn around a limp back home going about 15 mph at most. Ended up driving the wife's camry to work (penguin seat cover, blue flower steering wheel cover, stuff animals and flowers everywhere).

Re: I give up...
people are still saying it sound like a fuel problem or exhaust problem. I dont know if I should just change the filter and cut off the exhaust and see what happens or if I should pay to bring it somewhere.

Is the fuel pump something you can easily check/test?

Off to the shop I go. Hopefully it will be something easy for them to diagnose and for me to fix.

They have had it for 3 hours now, and no call yet. I really want to know what is wrong.

almost 5 hours and no call. If they don't call by one I am going to try and get ahold of them.

Re: I give up...
I called them and so far they can find nothing wrong with it. When it is cold it does it ALOT worse than when it is warmed up. What do you guys think? They are going to test the fuel, but if that comes back negative, what else could it be? Just the exhaust?
