It's an acquired taste, but I think it looks agressive as hell.

i might grow into the look of it. or if one comes out like that o would have to see it in person, but right now im not diggin it. if the front end was alil more squared up and the roof line was more aggresive
Me too. I want to see the production version.
The 6 was pretty good too. What I really want is an Evo 4 or 5.

Now that's badass. I think their was one in the movie "Who Am I" with Jackie Chan. I fell in love with that model since that movie.
I... don't get the hype?
I guess I need to stop looking at it as a Lancer. I've always hated Evos.
It's a giant killer. You get a car that is pretty civilized, seats 4 comfortably, runs low 13's stock, and can out-handle all but a handful of cars on the market. Up through the IX, you had the bomb shelter under the hood known as the 4G63 which needs no explanation coupled to one of the most advanced AWD systems on the market. The car made ordinary drivers look good and good drivers look like Gods.
For a purely aesthetic POV it's nothing to look at, but from a mechanical POV it's one of the best cars for the money - period. I would take an Evo over a Skyline any day of the week (R33 excluded).
The one I drove must have been sick. It still kinda handled like an econo-box, but it did pull pretty good. Don't ask me what number it was, I have no clue.
The more I look at that car the more it's growing on me. Originally I hated the concept pictures of it that I saw, but I'm starting to sort-of like it.
