Hey guys,
I just need to vent so please bare with me. I finally got my hood after a month of waiting only to have to ship it back out tomorrow. I dont know who thought that it was a good idea to ship out a cusom CF hood loose in a big box with bubble wrap around it and not expect the edges to be chipped all to hell but they did. It also has a huge scratch on the inside of it and you can see remnice of fiberglass around the back edge that goes next to the windshield, so the edges arnt rolled. The weave of the hood is increadable and flawless and the vents look perfect but the combination of a shitty packing job along with innept shipping company leads to bad things. I am so mad right now i feel like i am gonna pop. Anyway thats my rant.

Bax has no affiliation with UPS but UPS would have done a better job destroying the hood though...

That's a real shame dude. So Vorsteiner have agreed to take care of all the costs? Are they sending a new one?

Not sure yet, I have contacted the guy I ordered it from and Vorsteiner and I am still waiting to hear back what the proscess is going to be. But this is WHATS gonna happen.
1. they mail me a return address label.
2. I mail it back for free.
3. They make me a new one with changes I have told them about.
4. I get the new one mailed to me in better packaging and not all fuckered up.

and if the new one comes back and I am not satisfied with it I get a full refund and drive to Cali and kick the whole company in the nuts for all the headache they have given me. Also note that I waited a little over a month from payment to recievement.

LOL, its just these topic hit on two of my pet peeves,
1. overt incompitance
2. overt laziness
the incompitance with the packing job and the laziness by the courier as to not follow the huge FRAGILE on the side of the box. Also I am not too patient at times and with already having had to wait a month your right this is me right now. And they better be acting like your avatar right now

Did you try the hood out? Just to see if fitment was good?

Ahhh, so the big secret in BDC was the carbon fiber hood? Cool...hope the issues get resolved. I hate when stuff go wrong.

With it being such a light package its going to be manhandled alot, even though its large in size. Bax is pretty competent and a large worldwide company.

that may be the case but the still drug my hood across the parking lot and when i went out there to try and help and explain that scraping noise isnt a good thing he just laughed at me. It was all I could do not to hit him

call me Ari Gold cause after everyone dragging ass and talkin to people and not getting emails back and whinning and makin excuses, I took mutha fuggin charge. In about 30 min of phone time I got in touch with the manufacturer, the shipping company, and the company I ordered it from and got everything rolling. So the new status is; Vorsteiner is making me a new hood, The shipping company is paying for the shipping both ways with picking it up from me tomorrow, and the company I ordered it from is wondering how I got everything done so quickly as their head is spinning. Bladdow thats how we get the shit done!!!

yeah I am glad something got done cause they still have to make the hood and that too 4 weeks to get to me so I might get my new hood by christmas.

Apparently something about me calling yesterday worked cause Bax just showed up to pick up my hood.

BAX freight? They are the absolute cheapest option besides greyhound. However, I'm glad they refunded there money. +1 for them.

Well they didnt refund anything. I just called them to take it away forcing BAX and the manufacturer fight out who is gonna pay for the shipping back to them and then the new hood back to me.
