Looks fine to me Ive never seen that board not leaning, but and i cant see the 'bubbles' so i cant comment on them

Does it look like some black goo around the bottom of the cap? If so get it replaced ASAP.

I dont see why that leaning would mess with anything. As long as it is all still connected you should be fine i would think. You can always bend it back maybe?

Yeah, the leaning isn't an issue. Most of them are touching that board like that.

Sorta hard to tell what it is without better pics. If they're leaking there is usually black goo. Could be a bad cap if it's bubbled up.

Either way i would replace them. Pretty sure I have some extra ones laying around.

Just an FYI from my own board. I couldnt see any electolytic leakage from my caps when I pulled it but I could smell it. I didnt have the noticeable smell in the car, only after opening the ecu up and pulling the board could I smell it. Very faint smell, kinda a not so pleasant fishy smell.... Only when we pulled the caps could we see the leaking, it hadnt leaked enough to actually flow out from under the cap.

Side note, I have like 9 of each cap left and if you need them and dont feel like spending the money for all the shipping and shit I can send you a set. I just need to find them. I bought 10 of each as shipping was the same no matter what and 10 was the minimum for the first level of discount and 5 bucks in extra caps is chump change when it comes to buying favors with friends.

Yeah usually, if you see the damage on the board, it's too late.

Honestly, if you have it out like that just replace them. $5 and 5 minutes to remove a lot of questions and worries.

Yeah... it definitely looks like that c104 capacitor is leaking.... my dad said he could replace the capacitor... so I'll see if that helps... but I'm worried that it won't make a difference after being replaced because it looks like it leaked on the board a little???

As long as the leak wasnt horrible it shouldnt be an issue. I dont know your dad so I cant say anything about skill, but I hope he has done a moderate amount of electrical soldering.

Few items. Once the cap is off you can easily clean the stuff off the board and use a magnifying glass to see if the damage has made it past the protective coating and eaten into any of the runs.

The solder on my board took an insane amount of heat. I had a co-worker help who was doing computer and electronics repair in the 70's - current. He had to buy a hotter iron and it barely melted the solder enough to suck it off the board. We had to heat the solder and pull it loose while the iron was still on the tip just to get the caps out.

Just replace them all. I've got all of them laying around too if you wanted to swing up and pick them up or I suppose I could pay the 50 cents to send them down.

Yeah, Im with Terry. All of them at once. Your choice on vendors here. I have 9 of each setting at home. Setting with my big Cap and wiring to fix the timer to turn off the lights after my turbo time shuts off... another item i need to get around to fixing.

I would definitely lime to replace them all if it's possible.... How much exactly for shipping terry?
