my 94 Twin turbo puffs out a decent size cloud of smoke when I take off from a stop. compression is within service spec, turbos are rebuilt, pcv valve is new. I'm going to get a leak down tester and give that a shot, but I'd l ike to hear some random ideas from you guys. I'm leaning twords valve stem seals.

valve stem seals for sure in my mind

if ur gonna do it there is a writeup on how to make the spring compressor u are going to need but i just went out and ordered the mitsu tool....all in all both tools cost me about 200 total....then valve stem seals are about 60 i think....tear apart ur heads...get them acid bath dipped and decked if need be and swap all the stuff back in there and u have a rebuilt set of heads for under 400 boths for the full set

well I'm really thinking valve seals. when I rev it it puffs alot of smoke b ut if I rev it and hold the throttle at like 4000rpm, the smoke stops.
