It's no big deal. We are all friends here. I just think a lot of people were hyped for this project (myself included) but are just disappointed it's not getting finished.

Jeff went all Chevy small block hyper on us like most normal vehicle nuts do.

Greg, i think you just came in at the wrong time trying to say how bad this truck is, attempting to appeal to Jeffs desire to offload it. And i get and obviously support him moving on if he feels that's the right direction.

It didnt come off that way though. Like you were placing a label on Jeff, saying he was incapable of such a feat. Meanwhile shitting on his accomplishments thus far, and on a platform you know little about. It came off arrogant. There is plenty you dont know about these little trucks, and you likely never will. Both you and I are likely just fine with that.

Waving the "new cars are better" flag isnt an apples to apples argument. Jeff wasn't looking for that in this project. It was along the lines of:

Fit the biggest V6 Mitsubishi with MIVEC, in a 3,000lbs truck, with 4WD, LSD, and have some fun in good and crappy weather, while going off road, hauling home appliances in the back, and not worry about damaging it. Oh, and make it better than Steves.

Nah man. You completely spun that nonsense on your own. I do understand why you feel that way though. Not worth arguing. Let’s move on.

Vira put it up on Facebook and found a guy in Nebraska who wanted it. Took 4 tries before he actually made it down here, but it finally happened.
