Coop's rubbing off on me. No time for pictures when I'm busy driving it.

I took a ride on the Challenger space shuttle today. Let me tell you, it was explosive. Maybe I’ll get pics…one I return to orbit.

How many internet points am I starting with?
I drove it to pick up Taco Bell today. The drive-through guy liked the car. Had a Porsche driver wave at me for the first time ever. Various thumbs-ups.
I had to replace our mailbox, so didn't have a chance to get any good photos before it was too dark to get a good shot. I had concreted the steel post in the ground for the old mailbox (one of those Mail Vaults). Our mailman managed to hit it hard and tore the steel post at the bottom. Got tired of trying to dig out the post/concrete, so I just hooked up my 10,000 tow strap to the post and pulled up on it with my engine hoist. Yanked it right out of the ground, concrete and all.
I'll make a point to take some pictures tomorrow, though there's some bugs on the front now from driving around the last couple days. Might have to do a little detailing first.
I did catch a video of the redline getting bumped up, and made a quick pull right away.

Did the exact same thing a few months ago for a busted fence. Got tired of digging so used a chain as a choker around the concrete and pulled it right out with the engine hoist.

I finally got my new wheels mounted today. Looks tons better than the stock wheels.
I was out of town on business last week, so didn't catch up with the Z06 announcement until today. Looks good, and the motor is ridiculous. I love it, but don't think I'll get in line for it. I don't need that kind of anxiety waiting for one all over again.

That racing version looks cool.
I'm thinking about getting on the Z06 list at the same dealer. It'd probably be like 2024 or 2025 before my spot actually came up, so that may actually be about the right timing. Tough to commit, without knowing ballpark what the price is going to be. Could be like $150,000 optioned up similar to my Stingray, which is probably more than I would want to commit to that far in advance.

You are shockingly close on that number.
https://www.corvetteblogger.com/2022/07 ... is-106395/
Base price for the coupe is $106,395. The options go up steeply from there.
Base price for a 2019 Z06 was $82,xxx.
