Can you run a long extension cord either above or below ground? Also they make some nice $75 compact jumper packs that work very well. I keep a couple of those handy.
Long term I hope to have power at both the lake and the top. A place to hang out and put the boat down below. And a small garage uptop for when my kids drive as they will not fit down next to the house.
I’m not gonna run a cord through the yard has mowing I would have to move it. And I have a really nice jump pack. Just like keeping it in the vehicle I am normally in.

I didn’t say I was for them or against them.
Just pointing out your argument of them not being good for DD duties, for a vehicle you use very sparingly.
Also in that thread you were trying to justify getting one instead of the simpler, cheaper solution

that’s all I was pointing out in that other thread

I think it's possible to pull the relay and the fusible link and make one big battery.
Or just buy a battery disconnect switch. Something which was probably suggested at least once already.

Battery disconnect meaning I flip the battery everytime I wanna use the truck? Lose my radio stations?

Buy a modern radio and this won't happen.

I do need to do this. I need a back up camera and honestly a front one as well.
