If money isn't a problem. Milwaukee is almost always the best choice.

DeWalt dcf900 kicks the shit out of the comparable Milwaukee. I have an old IR that used to be top dog. It could usually pull Honda crank bolts. The DeWalt is so much more powerful.

Edit: I see I've already posted in here

My opinion has changed.

https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-XTR-24- ... 1002274076

1200ft lbs break away for 270 with battery.

https://www.harborfreight.com/20v-brush ... 59380.html

1400ft lbs break away and 200 plus 100 battery.

These are my options. Only reason I kind of want the kobalt is I have batteries for them. Is 200ft lbs worth it? They have same warranty but HF can do it in the store.

Thoughts?

Any reason? Most people on here are pretty high on HF?

I have owned my fair share or HF tools and the electrical stuff like drills have always been sub par. They may start off great, but overall quality is never looked at. They also tend to switch out manufacturers often, so if you want a part or battery they may have already moved on. The big manufacturers don't do that.

Here is a link that talks about Kobalt. Their power tools are manufactured by Chervon. They make tools for Skil, Craftsman, and Flex. Again not a pro level manufacturer like Milwaukee or Dewalt, but a step above HF.

As impressive as the reviews on their more premium grade Battery tools are I'd be hesitant to buy them too. As Steve has said they have changed their battery form and connection a couple of times now.

I do wish Ryobi had a really good electric half inch impact but neither of them are all that great. I can't see getting a separate battery ecosystem for a single tool.

Bought the kobalt because they have a deal where you get another high output batter (80 bucks) for free. Half tempted to sell the battery as the impact comes with a battery.
