Yea, ive never gone after a supplier for warranty.

We burned up 60k treadwear Michelin LTX Premiere tires in 30k, no problems with alignment rotated regularly over the miles with one long one of 10k miles.... They denied the warranty claim.

I’ve always had them last less than what they say as well.

I might just punch someone. Now she is saying that she feels like if she keeps it it will become a "lemon" and keep breaking down. It has the 10/100 powertrain warranty and the 5/60 bumper to bumper...

Now she is thinking about leasing something else.

Trust me, I’m an expert

Women can change their mind in one day on anything man. They see something different or the car makes an odd noise. Or their friends brothers internet friend said something about how he heard those cars suck and they want something new. But you can remind them 100 times that the tiny bathroom trash should not be used to throw away their pals sweet tea cup that takes up the entire thing and it doesn’t matter.

Yeah she just wants something else. It won’t “become a lemon”, and like you said it has a great warranty. If she’s that worried just tell her you can buy an extended warranty haha.

So... Roughly same monthly payment.

Keep soul. Add bumper to bumper that lasts through 2027.

Lease Seltos EX. Adds sunroof, awd, blind spot, adaptive cruise, heated seats, more cargo space, more room, better seats.

Problem with seltos is in 3 years be in the same spot we are now, it's slower, not as "zippy" as she puts it, less unique cubby storage areas, and more money in long run.

So... Like we said before, keep the Soul. FWD will be FINE with proper tires. Sure it's not the latest and greatest, but it is the smart decision.

The seltos has all the features she wanted on the soul but didn't get

And yet you have to drive the Jeep which is hers, because she didn't want to sell it?

I don't mind driving the jeep. She won't. So she needs something to drive. I eventually need a replacement for the jeep because of reliability. She has a must get to job. She can't drive something unreliable.

Still think it's completely unfair that you have to drive the Jeep (even though you don't mind), because she doesn't want to AND she gets to have a new car when she wants/if she wants.
