Fireman got different tires on his car and has these for 100 bucks. Are they better or worse.

For $100 you can try them out. IMO better to get all terrain over all seasons though.

I just can’t find apples to apples reviews on these two tires and some of you have seen people post about them. I would be willing to bet the current would be better on any sort of off road compared to the michillins but it’s not going off road, only ever worried about snow and maybe rain. I still want dedicated snow tires so maybe I get these and use them for 3 season. But if they are not any better I will save my money.

Seems to go either way based on personal preferences. For you application the Michelin might be better. How is the tread on both? Age? Condition? That will play a lot in it too.

Michelin Will be a lot better on the street wet and dry, and in moderate snow. Really deep off road snow might not be as good.

He said they were brand new minus 500 miles he drove on them. The nitro’s seem like they are about half a life.

I think jason is right, for 100 bucks how can I go wrong.

i keep going back and forth on tires. Probably going with BFG k02s

Seems to have the most aggressive tread pattern for an at.

Got the tires. Two are deff worn a little on the outside. Don’t even know if I want them.

Either those or Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs

From some research I've done it seems like some people are really having a hard getting KO2's to balance out and not vibrate. Duratrac tires are getting a lot of positive reviews for snow and harder off roading but still decent on the road. Falken wild peaks and Cooper AT3s get a good amount of positive reviews especially for snow.

Hmmmm. I may need to buy coopers....because obvious reasons.

I’ve ran both on my company vehicles. Duratracs are a much better tire all around.

for me its between ko2, grabber at2, geolanders, and the wildpeaks. Also need to decide if im stepping down to 15" method wheels. Ill likely just keep the steelies though, due to funds.

From personal experience I don't see much a difference between the KO2 and the Duratracs. Both excellent tires IMO. I would just get whatever it cheaper between the two at the time. Every time I have needed new tires on the Jeep the BFG AT was always the cheaper option. Only time I didn't get them was when I lifted the LJ and put mud/'off-road tires on.

In my case the bfgs are about $200 more than other options lol
