I'm not usually a fan of whaletail Porsches, but shit...that one may make me a convert.

The Defender is cool too. I like the look of those old Land Rovers.

I have a love/hate relationship with Porsches. For some reason I have always wanted a 911 whale tailed Slant Nose.. they can look downright ugly in the wrong color combination but get it right.. mmm.. This blue is just perfect as is imo.

The 57 Vette just doesn't look right in white. It needs to be red or black.

Then again I hate white vehicles anyway.

Woooh! Mixed bag today!

1977 Porsche 924 DP Cargo - http://bringatrailer.com/2016/10/23/one ... -dp-cargo/
What the f... Ok so I like Shooting Brakes but this.. odd. Very very odd. And almost so odd I want it!

1976 Jensen GT - http://bringatrailer.com/2016/10/23/one ... jensen-gt/
More Shooting Brakes! I've wanted a Jensen for a long time.. for some reason..

1995 Alfa Romeo 164 Quadrifoglio 5-Speed - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1995-alfa-romeo-164/
Speaking of wanting for a long time.. I really don't know what it is about these Alfas but I always liked them back in the day at home. Especially like the rear styling on them but dig the profile as well.

1950 Fiat 500 Trevisan - http://bringatrailer.com/2016/10/22/top ... -trevisan/
From the oddball basket comes this one. Striking body lines and tiny engine!

1979 Pontiac Trans Am 6.6L 4-Speed - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1979-p ... rans-am-3/
Can somebody please tell me why I like these?!?

1998 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1998-s ... eza-2-5rs/
WRX swapped 2.5 RS would make for one heck of a fun car! Pretty cheap as well.

1971 Datsun 510 - http://bringatrailer.com/2016/10/22/fas ... atsun-510/
SR20DET powered. I know Jeff doesn't like these. I do. I have no idea why...

1966 Dodge Charger - http://bringatrailer.com/2016/10/14/fir ... e-charger/
426/4 speed combo is nice. Not a huge Charger fan but this ain't bad.

Renault 6×6 - http://bringatrailer.com/2016/10/14/ide ... nault-6x6/
The zombie apocalypse geek in me is twitching...

Let's start off with some power today...

1963 Plymouth Savoy Max Wedge - http://bringatrailer.com/2016/10/24/the ... max-wedge/
So much red. But so much awesomeness.

1956 Mercury Monterey - http://bringatrailer.com/2016/10/24/low ... -monterey/
I SO WANT THIS! 500 hp.. that sinister look.. Men In Black style outfit.. hell yeah! I would totally do it!

1995 Land Rover Defender 90 - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1995-l ... fender-90/
This is just beautiful. Would be almost a shame to take it off road. Shame about the auto conversion though.

1959 Lotus Elite - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1959-lotus-elite-2/
Say what you want about British cars.. but they have made some of the most beautiful designs through the years. Love this. Always have.

The Mercury is beautiful. Not something I'd aspire to own, but I definitely admire it.

I agree with you on the Defender. I'm not a big fan of over restorations. Especially for things like off road vehicles and race cars. It's like with that McLaren F1 LT video I posted a little while back. I get that they're preserving it, because it's historic. But it's funny to me to see Pebble Beach judges ding points for not being surgically clean. It's a race car. A tool. When it was actively racing, it never, ever looked that good. I'm not saying it should be filthy and covered in rubber bits. But that'd be more historically accurate than a week worth of detailing by a team of professionals.

Same with the truck. That Land Rover looks better than it did when it came off the line. But it's not able to be used as intended. If you just want something to toss around on pavement, there's better choices.

That Elite is sexy. I wonder if it could handle an LS swap? :chin:

This isn't BaT, but it's interesting all the same. Willys Jeeps built under license by Mitsubishi.
