On the old board software we had a plugin that would auto scale large images. It hasn't really been an issue lately, so I never looked for an updated one. I'll see what I can do.

My browser made it same size as the screen. Nothing huge. Looked normal.

Haven't had a chance to try out the new tires yet. Been raining for the last few days. I mean they won't kill me to take it in the rain, but I can't push them either.

Looking at my calendar, unless I have surgery, it is looking more and more like I might be hitting pacific raceways next month on the 15th if I can swing it and weather cooperates.

Dragy wouldn't connect but took it out today. Lot more grip down low. Bit less at higher speeds it feels like.

Try it on an ultrawide lmao.

I miss the auto sizing software for sure but if it’s too much trouble then don’t worry about it

Found someone on marketplace who had a set of these. Never used them. Still new in box. $100. Said why not. Should be picking them up next week. Will need to paint them to match the rear spoiler. Kind of a satin black with a light clear coat. I will see how they look and if I notice any difference at speed out of curiosity.

That could look pretty cool.

Got them early. Not great. Not bad. Pic isn't great as lighting isn't great. Involved a lot of screws into the body so wasn't sure at first, but said fuck it, at least the holes if I don't like it are along the bottom and not that noticeable. We will have to see how it looks in the sun.

That was fast. Looks ok so far. I'll bet they need some paint once you get it out in the sun. Maybe see about GM Carbon Flash? It's basically a metallic black. They used it for things like the rear vents on the C7, but it was also used as a primary paint color for GMCs of the time. Automotive Touchup sells it in rattle cans.

My spoiler is a matte black kind of. These are actually pretty close in color and shine. I'll be at cars and coffee more than likely tomorrow so I'll get a better look

Seeing them in the light they could use a paint. Maybe a coating of matte black. They are shiny in some areas, not in others. Not awful, but noticeable at like 5 ft away.

Hard to tell in the garage. Would a simple clear coat fix it?

Bit better lighting.

Either another clear coat or a matte coat would be good. Looks like previous guy painted them but didn't do a good clear job up close. Should be an easy fix.

Calling for rain over at the drag strip tomorrow, so not going.

Going to the local track tomorrow.

Had it out today. Pretty heat soaked after about an hour of spirited driving. Rolled into throttle without any torque loading. Dragy said 11.5 at 126.

Guessing on a track, without heat soak, and a good launch, might get into the 10s on street tires.

Every day I drive it. Every time I bring it to a car show. The more I fall in love with it. I could sell the tundra or volt tomorrow. I'd really struggle to let this go.

I remember when that seemed like such an aspirational number.

Now it's something people just go do. Sometimes right off the showroom floor.

Excited for the numbers you put down. How did it go?
