Is that supposed to be an argument that the 3S will some day be worth $500k? Cause that’s a one of one known vehicle.

If it wasn’t supposed to be an argument, you’re still wrong. The only special 3S are the 99 VR4s, 96 RTTT, Spyders, and maybe you could argue a Stealth pace car.

It was not an argument. I just disagree because any super low mile, first year of a car that will have a collectible becomes collectible. Maybe not as much but stupid low miles will make it such.

The link I just thought was cool.

I doubt a 1G Stealth will ever b anywhere near the value of a comparable '96 Stealth, '99 VR4, or Spyder. There's just way too many of them around, and they are the least desirable year from a reliability perspective.

Agree. I mean the' regular Turbo cars will become a collector car to an extent but the special ones will be where the real value is. Kinda like a regular 70 challenger is collectable, but the super bees and hemi cars are where the real money is.

Does the "Dodge" collector community even care about the Stealth at all, or are they ambivalent or even hostile to it since it is really a Mitsubishi? If it is more the latter, then that's even worse for the long-term collectibility of the Stealth.

Oh I wasn't trying to reference Mopar collectors just was making a general car vs special car comparison.

Never as valuable. Just if it’s super low mile it will be a collector and worth some money later on. At least that’s how I feel. I don’t think the 96 stealth will be worth shit but that’s because I think it looks like an avenger.

There were only 57 RT/TT's ever made. Based on the data I have there are only 28% of them left on the road (total for 1996... 101/360). That makes them rarer than McLaren F1's

I guess but for arguments sake a clean low mile (better looking) 1g is just as rare!

96’s were just ugly. I hate it but they were.

I'm with you. About the only thing I like about the 2G Stealth is the rear bumper.

I do agree 1Gs Stealth's look better than the 2G Stealth.

There is still approximately 18% of 1G 3S's registered (all trim levels). ~16,000 out of 87,651
