Someone was willing to buy this monstrosity that sat next to a Tire & Rim store [one of those 'No Credit, Bad Credit, No Problem!' places of course] for years.
It's rolling down Skibo Road next to the mall on Saturday afternoons now with a flag hanging off the back.
But yeah, 80k for a surplus HMMWV
Isn't that like taking a Russian capture K98, putting a gawdy aftermarket stock with a pistol grip on it, and then trying to sell it for 5k plus? Kinda like this Mosin:

Speaking of historic stuff, we found a 1941 Reichspfennig in the Walmart parking lot today. At first glance it looked just like a nickel laying on the ground. Our three year old gets quite excited at finding money.
