Didn't get many pics or videos, but took the car to my first Cars and Coffee this past weekend. There is one just a few miles away every Saturday April-Oct. Was not expecting to see so many cars. Damn near 100 showed up. Everything from classic muscle to modern supercars and everything in between. Got a lot of positive comments and invites to more shows. Finally met the guy who lives around the corner with the red C6 GS. There is a car show being held at the local golf course I was invited to this weekend and was also invited to Vette-A-Bration in mid June. Vettes from all over the state get together for a weekend long takeover of Yakima.

[quote=""Melis""]The cop asked Coop "Are you really a firefighter?" Coop was like "yeah" then the cop said "ok your in charge" then the cop left

According to my dragy app. Light throttle into 2nd, still spun most of 2nd, 0-60 = 5.1 seconds and 1/4 was 13.2 but I let off the throttle at about 85 mph and coasted rest of the way.

Fuck.

Stuck in driveway. Can "shift" out of park but transmission itself won't.

Trying to see if I can figure it out. Was working great while out today.

Fixed.

Had to take out the entire shifter assembly. Where it connects to the cable that runs to the transmission has popped out.

Quick Google search shows it's a rather common thing to break. Luckily it wasn't a full break. Just slipped out.

That sucks. Is there a permanent upgrade/fix for it?

Doesn't seem like it. At least it's a cheap cable should it mess up permanently. Just a pain in the ass to get to. Have to remove the exhaust and tunnel.

if its still available order the cable now. just stick it on the shelf (or in the back under the trunk).

i wish i had ordered more mustang shit when i could have. did get a spare clutch cable just for shits and it ended up going obsolete. now an OE clutch cable is pulling 2x more than i paid for a used cable. new in bag are impossible to find. aftermarket cables suck.

Not sure if I can find an oem one. Most look aftermarket. Not sure if acdelco is the oem part.

That is how many miles I've put on this in 20 months.

I'm only at 3400 over 24 months. 1900 of that was a road trip up to MI last year.
