Clearly there are people in this thread who have taste, then there are people who like chrome

That looks far better than the chrome did.

Decided to do it right.

Prepped and sanded, primer, mid way, finished.

Will let it cure overnight and put them back on the car tomorrow or Sunday.

In the sun. Thinking about maybe painting the calipers and cleaning the rust off the brakes.

So much better!

Unrelated, I still love that color on the Wilderness Subaru models!

Paint the calipers and do some real light tire dressing. I've had good luck with this stuff. It doesn't make tires look all greasy and shiny unless you do a ton of coats.

Still love my dura coating that last 3-4months.

Turned out good. Yes, now your rotors stick out, so prep and paint those and you should be good.

I found a can of chassis saver i never opened in the garage. Satin black. Might use that. Says you can paint over rust if I don't get it all off first.

That's fine, I've lightly sanded rotors before too and then just did a light even coats with Rustoleum in the past. Never bubbled up

Oh man. Couple days ago did a fresh change of supercharger oil. Took it out today to put it through its paces again. Holy fuck haven't driven it that hard in awhile. Swear to god the harder you drive it the better it feels and comes alive. That 600+ rwhp is definitely a sweet spot right now. Got a few vette waves. A couple friendly honks and waves from older muscle cars and trucks, and a few comments at red lights and a parking lot. The longer I have this thing the more I am falling in love with it.

they say 350whp is the sweet spot in my MR2. i think "they" are wrong and its been proven 7-800 rwhp is the sweet spot.

I think where my Stealth is (in the 450whp range) is the sweet spot for it. I can turn the boost up to about 25psi and get it to about 500whp probably, but it can't be super hot out then.
