Chris's was a dedicated track/fun car.

And I meant his Miata would've been faster than your VR4 on a road course, not his VR4
It wouldnt surprise me if he could beat me on a road course. But to say my car isnt running or even running well is just wrong. Im sure it could beat me in a parking lot full of cones as well. But thats not what I ever wanted mine to do. I still cant get past the stereotype of them though.

I saw a cut up one today with a roll cage for 1700. I thought about it just to upset Aaron. Then I realized I wasnt gay.

Since nobody said we had to lay off the Gayz. I’ve got some questions.
1) Ryan you had 3 gay miatas? Does that mean you’re gay and if so is it to the 3rd power?
2) Does coop looking at miatas make him gay? Is coop repressing his inner rainbow?
That is all.

There seems to be a lot of repressed feelings here. I think a lot of you need to come out.

I really want this one. It's not one of the "53" on account of it having converted competition seats, but I don't care about that. It's also got AP brakes and the GM suspension software upgrade.

I'm on track to pay my car off next May, if not sooner. I really don't want to start over, nor do I want to go to Texas right now.

It would appear my work computers firewall is preventing me from looking at Autotrader... not sure why that is

I like that a lot! This is America, you are always supposed to have a car payment, so I think you should do it

. If it is really the one you want, get it and be happy. That's what I did with the RS.
Based on KBB, and assuming you have 25,000 miles on your car, it should be worth $38,500-$41,800. Seems like the perfect time to do it
Plus Covid-19 is a hoax anyway, so you should be plenty safe to go to Texas

It's at 27k. I'm down to 19k on the loan, so I could flip it for a fair amount of cash, even if I took the easy route and unloaded it at Carmax or one of those instant KBB offers.

Good guess on my part
I bet you could get 40k for yours trade in, which would effectively give you 21k down. Brings that cost down to 38,995. Sure you'd have another 5-6 years of payments (initially anyway), but you'd have the car you wanted, with some nice extra stuff already on it.
J-groove doesn't live to far away from there (35-45 minutes). Bet he'd go look at it for you, and even let you crash at his place

Whats different between the two?

Mechanically it's everything my car has, but with bigger brakes and wider wheels and body work. The interior has nicer leather and alcantara trim on the roof and window pillars.
I'll be honest...it's an aesthetic upgrade only. I really, really like the widebody look, as well as the blue interior. I also like the idea of having a numbered car. The real performance differences are minuscule since I made sure to get my car with Z51 and magnetic ride.
I could convert my car over, but by the time you factor in parts, paint, wheels and tires, I'd be better off just trading it in.

I really like the look of that car as well. I really like the blue interior also.
I feel like you are where I was at when I finally did get my RS. I really enjoyed my ST, but I was always looking at RS's. When I did find mine, it was a really good deal that was too good to pass up on. Plus I owed less on my ST than the trade in value, so everything seemed to come together. At first I had a bit of buyers remorse, knowing I was going from 2 years left of payments to 6 years again, but now 21 months later I do not regret it at all.
