Aftermarket wheels right?

I've seen aftermarket wheels (it was a suburban) ask for a ton of weight and still have vibration issues. He picked up a set of stock wheels and never had a problem again.

Yep. Aftermarket.

Been browsing Facebook but not sure what style I like for oem.

Wonder how easy it would be to clean these up and for that price I wonder if there is anything wrong with them.

Sent him a message. We will see.

I think of oem wheels I like that design the best. Problem is finding them for cheap. Most sellers are selling theirs with tires so end up being expensive.

Forgot to mention, caliper pins were bone dry on all 4 back pins and nearly dry on the front.

Maybe these.

They are gmc but I believe they are 16". I can always swap center caps.

Any corrosion or sticking? Lack of grease isn't terrible but it will promote excess pin bore wear and allow corrosion.

I assume you greased them up with the proper stuff...

Sticking a bit. Especially one of the front ones. They all moved but not great. Greased them up really good with crc caliper grease.

Those gmc ones sold already and the other ones never got back to me.

Driving like a jackass enjoying the new tune. 16 mpg.

Same habit on old tune, about 14.5

Curious about if I drive conservatively.

Hooked up my tuner to do a WOT log to check fuel trims, afr, knock, O2, etc.

All looked great but a new update allows it to "guesstimate" HP and TQ.

Rolled into it and did a 0-70 run. Max RPM was 5665, but the HP said 391.7 and TQ said 601.5. Ya OK.

Finally got some wheels.

Will post pics after I clean them up.

Something is definitely off with the rear end though. Might be a bad bearing or something. On my way back from battle ground on 5 the rear end was all over the place and felt crazy wobbly and unstable like the rear wheels were about to fall off before I got to a smoother section of road. Definitely have rear wobble around 40 mph and some vibration and shakes around 70 no matter what road I'm on.

Only one with any real corrosion is the closest one.

Might end up sanding it down and painting but not really sure.

Definitely get under there and check bolts. A bad bearing would typically only cause a noise.

I did and I didn't see anything. Getting the wheels swapped out on Friday. Will take a better look while on the lift.

Crawled under it. Really pushed pulled shook etc and checked all the bolts to the shocks, leafsprings, ubolts, etc and everything felt tight. Maybe it's just a really bad balanced wheel. Or something internal to the rear axle? I'll try to get a better look on Friday.

It's also really hard to hear anything over the exhaust.
