Can I send you a certified cheque for 40k? Just FedEx me the title and I'll send a truck for the car. Keep 5k for your troubles.
Really? I love it. My whole reason for wanting that car is aesthetics. That's also the number one reason I'm not jumping on this particular car. That's a lot of money to spend for something that mainly just looks different from mine. The mechanical differences aren't significant.
Sorry, it just doesn't do anything for me. Looks like it is trying too hard to stand out.
With that said, the local Carmax has a Z06 on the lot. I don't really want a Z06, let alone a black on black one, but I'm still curious how different the driving experience is.
If you love the Stingray, you'll probably not like the Z06. It is a lot more brutish and twitchy and a lot of the characteristics that make the Stingray a well balanced car are thrown out the window with the power increase.

IMO Grand Sport is the sweet spot. I don't need more than 450hp :d ontknow:

Be glad I don't have ZR1 money. Then you'd all have to put up with that giant wing, and a colorful interior.

I'd put up with it, no questions. I like the blue interior!

Blue is far better than red

I like the blue interior, but not the charcoal exterior. They white/red combo on your car is much sharper. :bigthumb:

I am sure after driving it for a while you would still want more, if it to rev quicker, or something. There always is.

I really don't want it to do anything else besides the couple of electronic projects I'm working on. I do prefer the widebody of the GS and Z06, but that's all down to looks. I could trade my car in on a GS for what it would cost to convert mine. But I think at this point I'd rather just pay it off and enjoy it.

I'm with the Jeffers on this one. Z06 is too much for a street car. Too much to enjoy it.

Meh...I’m pretty sick of Miata owners are gay jokes, especially when it’s really out of context like this.

Pretty well accepted fact that Miatas are $ for $ one of the best track cars you can buy :d ontknow:

Also when’s the last time you had a well running fun car, or went to a track? I’d bet that Chris old Miata would’ve smoked your VR4 in most cases at a road course.

Yeah the 400whp Evo owner was pissed when he had to point me by.... Which basically involved him not getting on the throttle at all on the front straight of Thunderhill West lol.

My vr4 has been running just fine for 3 years. When I say it needs a tune, it’s to get more power out of it. But it went to the dragon, drove hard, and back....no issues. And it’s deff faster than a stock vr4, which is what I recall Chris’s being. Yeah he can prob drive better but I promise it was not faster than mine. It boost 14psi on my tdo5’s really fine. I just want more like 18-20psi out of it.

Miatas are fun, I’ve driven one, they handle great....and the entire time I wanted more power and unless it’s a track car they are boring. No matter what you are sick of, every time I see someone in one then that’s what I think.

Chris's was a dedicated track/fun car. ;) And I meant his Miata would've been faster than your VR4 on a road course, not his VR4 ;)
