Not sure if I would want a drilled in one or a 3m tape one. Price is similar. If I get one.

Been spending money for black friday deals and current promotions.

Bought the tires - getting them installed next week. Going with the Pilot Sport 4S. I have the money and the downtime to get them put on and they are currently on sale, so why not?

Ordered the corsa extreme axle back exhaust. Will keep the cats on the factory manifolds but getting the cat-less x-pipe with the extreme axle backs. Factory x-pipe was cat-less, but in 2012 or so there was a recall that required cats to be installed on the older LS3. So replacing the catted one with the corsa cat less.

Will be ordering the morimoto headlights next week when they go on sale. Also picked up some plugs from mouser to cap off some wires on the morimotos that are left open if I want sequential turn signals. Also thinking about getting their side markers. They look black but then are LED in the correct colors. Haven't really decided on that yet.

Still waiting on the tko intake but also ordered a acdelco one I will put on if the tko one doesn't show up in time for me to take the car to get the tires put on. If it shows up I will just return the acdelco.

Have the spark plugs and wires sitting in the garage to get installed, just haven't done it yet. Will probably do that tomorrow or Friday. Along with a cell phone mount I picked up.

Ordered some battery terminals for the truck as well to help clean up the wiring.

After I get the tires there is a local tint shop doing a special on tint right now too. $100 off so can get the front windows done for under $100.

Plan on putting together and testing the QuickJack lift on Friday as well and see how well it goes under the car and install the front plate bracket while I have the car in the air.

I was reading that some people recommend installing an oil catch can on these cars. Not sure if that is something I should do or not.

New plugs, wires, intake all done. Idles more smoothly now. But Holy hell it's quiet. My truck is louder. Lol. Can't wait for the exhaust.

That sucks. Any idea if it can be plugged for now?
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

No idea. I just pulled it back in the garage. I'll pump it up tomorrow and see how long it lasts but I'm getting new tires on Wednesday anyway. Just wonder why it's flat. If puncture or because old or because wheel issue.

The wheels I would get are $1200. Not sure if I want to buy them or leave the chromes

Filled it last night. Lost 4 psi overnight. Definitely a slow leak.

Ordered the last thing I was planning on. The Morimoto headlights. Now it is just a waiting game for the intake filter still, exhaust, and lights. Once here I can start installing everything.

The little bit I was able to drive it yesterday, the whole 100 yards, it did feel a lot smoother with the donaldson filter and new plugs/wires.

Wednesday morning = tint. Afternoon = tires. Tire is holding enough pressure long enough if I fill it Wednesday morning I should be good to do both.

Do a burnout. That should increase tire pressure. ;)

Not worth it.

In other news, was digging around in the garage and found an old powered mtx 8" sub laying around. Debating on adding it to give the car a little extra oomph from the radio. Have all the wiring laying around still as well so should be a fairly simply install if I want to attempt it.

You can’t just drop in a sub on a Bose system they use funky output signals. You’ll need a line out converter and an amp for that to work.

It's not a factory head unit and because of that I think I might be alright. Rca output directly to the sub. I was going to hook it up without running all the wiring through the car and see if it works. If so, great, if not it's only like 30 min waste of time.

Sub is one of those powered all in one units. So no external amp needed.

It came with bose from the factory, so has bose speakers and amp, but a previous owner put in the aftermarket head unit .
