Stifflers. Because nobody likes a limp chassis.

Got everything installed and tacked into place yesterday. Ran out of gas and was too tired to change tanks. Finished welding up this morning, primed, buying texture paint to match existing paint today. It's nice being able to open the doors of a convertible when the car is on a lift

JLT fender well intake and Ford racing diff cover remaining to go on. Figured I should get something a little more modern to replace the 20 year old apten intake I had on there. I think it was the first aftermarket intake available for the 03s.

Need to get headers to replace the kooks I have that, well, have seen better days. They're a bit rusty and smashed from hitting the ground on a stock suspension car. ARH tuck up almost 2 inches higher which is good considering I have drop springs in this one.

Driveshaft finally got completed by a local driveshaft place. Looks real good.... Except they made it about an inch short even after giving them the measurements of a stock shaft and they had my old bent one that matched the measurements I gave them. It works but I won't run it hard with half of the yoke extending out of the trans. Luckily the diff flange is the same as f150s so I can pick up a spacer for now.

Guess I'll be ordering a PST after all.

Charged up the ac a couple weeks ago. Still blows cold. Nice surprise. It did hold vacuum for over an hour. Just nice that I didn't need to replace anything.

Need to bleed the brakes again and probably do an abs bleed. No idea how long they sat empty. It stops but pedal is a bit soft. Could just be the rust buildup on the rotors from sitting 5 years. Everything will be changed before I actually start driving. Cobra R brembo setup just popped up from the guy I got the chassis from. Thinking about just getting them.

Didn’t know mustangs were so loosey goosey. Maybe that’s why they know how to “join the crowds”.

Drove it home yesterday. Even at low speeds with an eyeball alignment, 14 year old kumbo xs tires (that have 98% tread remaining  ) and no front sway bar... It feels better than my red one did.

Why no front sway bar?

It's still bolted to the old k-member sitting in my yard.

Wasn't needed to make the car move so I didn't worry about it. K-member needs to come down to do the headers anyways so when they come in I'll install it.

One for each wheel

I haven't unboxed them yet but wheels, hood strut conversion, fog lights and bezels (one got damaged when it got wrecked. These were on sale. 2 OEM bezels and a pair of lights for about the cost of one bezel from the dealer here.)

Polished single blade tb just came in today. Still waiting on my headers

Well... One items in the boxes won't work
Image

Because I decided to put these things on.

The mount brackets interfere with the strut. Had I bought a different brand it would probably be fine but I didn't want to drill the hood. I'll probably be able to modify these to fit but it'll take me a few years to get to it.

Edit.... They fit!!!
